Thanksgiving with Seagulls

As thousands of people descend on the island for Turkey-fest the gym also gets filled up. Beyond the college basketball team staff (still mostly UConn) now I got to see the occasional crossfitter. Not that we talk much, but it’s hard to miss people doing thrusters, burpees, kipping pull-ups and dumbbell swings back to back like a maniac. Yes, that’s us… Suddenly I started feeling more at home among the humming treadmills and huffing-puffing biceps curlers.

WOD “Mean 15”
3 rounds for time:
– 15 deadlifts 155lbs
– 15 burpees
– 15 dumbbell thrusters 35lbs
– 15 pullups
