Day 1 of 42 – WOD at Club Med Paris

After many futile attempts to find the elusive CrossFit France in Paris, I settled on Club Med Gym. Day 1 of my 42-day Challenge had me doing treadmills and dumbbells. Easy to find anywhere. I also found a broomstick in the gym, which would only excite CrossFitters and witches… Oh yes, the treadmills and the dumbbells were on two separate floors connected by a steel spiral staircase, which added to the mystery for the locals on what the hell I was doing…

Warm-up

100 wall squats with broomstick: )
80 pushups
60 sec handstand (3×20 sec)
40 pullup (hit my head on the ceiling trying to do kipping)

WOD

3 rounds for time:

– 400m run
– 15 manmakers 25# DB

(These manmakers are brutal!!!)

22:50 min

Cash-out 5 single double unders. (Took me a while…)
