Having someone in the family in her early months of CrossFit I get to relive both the excitement and the frustration of the sport. My favorite question from her is this: “Dad, why is this so hard?”. I tell her, “it will get easier when you get better and then it will be harder again”. And there it goes. Like today’s Fran-kenstein 13.5 that she went for with some scaling. She noted that even so, she was running laps around any coach potato.
