Anyone flying from Asia to the US knows this: the day seems endless. Exactly 36 hours from Hong Kong midnight to East Coast midnight thanks to the magic of the international date line.
Of course, until airlines or airports install gyms (CF boxes?) these travel days default to rest days.
In my case mobility. To the dismay of airport inspectors I now board with my MobilityWOD kit including the SuperNova and Lacrosse balls and Rogue bands. This way I get hours of mobility time sitting in my airplane seat which, I would argue, was not designed for normal humans.
I also have a shoutout to the XpressSpa at the SFO airport for their super back massage on this 18-hour monster trip!
