Despite my many attempts at a daily mobility routine (and even a great seminar with
K Star), flexibility somehow takes backseat to strength, metcon and skillwork.
Until that special day when the workout calls for extra hip, lats, shoulder flexibility that, well, just isn’t there.
The good coaches of CFDV reminded me again today that mobility you practice every day. Like eating and drinking. May not be power yoga or even a full 30 minutes, but one thing is for sure: if we are struggling with a skill, there is a flexibility issue lurking underneath… Part of CFDV’s Lean Life Challenge will make me commit to 30 minutes mobility a day. I sure need it.
